Warehouse Cycle Counter Day Shift - 6:00 AM to 6:00
PM What You'll Do:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring, physically counting, verifying, and maintaining accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished liquid products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production efficiency, inventory integrity, customer fulfillment, and accurate financial reporting. Counts must be based on actual physical verification of product, not solely on system balances, labels, prior counts, or assumptions. Key Responsibilities Used Electric Pallet Jack within the last 6 months Schedule and assign cycle count for raw materials and finished goods Report production data using batch cards Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective actions Input and validate cycle count results in the system Generate period-end variance reports Perform physical cycle counts and annual inventory Physically count and verify inventory at assigned locations, ensuring item number, lot or batch, quantity, unit of measure, product status, and warehouse location match system records. Document count results accurately and timely, including supporting notes for discrepancies, inaccessible inventory, damaged product, or inventory conditions requiring escalation. Request and process inventory adjustments Monitor inventory discrepancies and notify management Perform slotting audits, item phase-ins/phase-outs, and PO verifications Handle vendor credits and processing of damaged products
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Warehouse work environment 2 yrs inventory control or warehouse experience 2 yrs of Electric Pallet Jack 2 yrs of
Stand-Up Forklift Skills & Abilities:
Strong mathematical, analytical, and decision-making skills aligned with inventory best practices. Ability to perform accurate physical counts at racking-level locations with a high degree of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic warehouse or production environment. Technical Knowledge (Basic): Inventory control systems and reporting tools Microsoft Excel or related inventory tracking software Basic understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations Frequently use eye/hand coordination and use handling/fingering to handle boxes, use hoses, or tools. Frequently lift and carry items under 5 lbs from floor level to overhead. Occasionally kneel, crawl, squat, or climb. Occasionally use hand, eye, and foot coordination, fine motor skills, and sensory tasks such as taste and smell. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the shift from floor level to shoulder height over distances of 50-100 feet, and push a film cart requiring 25 lbs of force for 100 feet. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
ENVIRONMENTAL/ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS
Constantly work in damp, wet, humid and slippery environments. Constantly work near moving equipment with fumes or airborne debris. Constantly work in high noise levels requiring hearing protection. Occasionally work with toxic or caustic chemicals. Constantly work in extreme heat/cold. Occasionally work with hand tools, causing segmental or whole-body vibration.
MACHINES/TOOLS/EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE
Bump cap, hair net, safety glasses, hearing protection, and uniform or smock. Sit down and stand-up forklifts Push/pull attachment and fork extensions Cut resistant gloves. Battery extractor and hoist mechanism. Battery charging station. Computer system. Food safety knife and small hand tools. Qualifications Required of this
Position:
Licensed forklift operator with a minimum of six months of safe operation of material handling equipment. Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Possess reading and basic math skills. Physically capable of standing, walking, and twisting while carrying 50-pound objects. Pay & Benefits Pay Range (Base Pay): $20.70 - $24.32
Other Compensation:
May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
