Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control team member to support our fabrication and manufacturing operations. This hourly position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring production has the materials needed to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/inventory management system. Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits. Receive, verify, label, and stock incoming materials and supplies. Issue materials to production personnel and work orders. Monitor inventory levels and communicate material shortages or replenishment needs. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and inventory variances. Organize and maintain inventory locations for efficient material flow. Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed. Support inventory accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. What You Bring Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to accurately count, track, and organize materials. Basic computer skills and experience with data entry. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift experience is a plus. Education | Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 1 year of inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material handling experience preferred. Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems preferred. Experience in a fabrication, machining, welding, or manufacturing environment is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
