Job Description:
Your Piece of the Puzzle Do you have an eye for detail? If so, as NFM's Inventory Control Auditor, you will resolve inventory discrepancies, measure NAS codes, perform showroom and warehouse audits, and educate others on inventory procedures to reduce shrink and improve inventory accuracy. You get to investigate the root causes on discrepancies that directly or indirectly impact internal and external customers. You will coach, train, and support internal partners to improve the organizations inventory processes.
Job Duties:
A Day in the Life Analyze Resolve cycle discrepancies on reconciliation reports and in the POPS system after each location is cycled Propose Offer cost effective solutions to resolve customer conflicts. Complete or assist with the order maintenance steps to take care of the customer. Ensure customers are billed for actual products received when necessary Develop Audit inventory processes, determine if documented processes are still utilized. Look for root causes of any errors with the objective to bring about changes to reduce errors, improve accuracy, and minimize NAS and aged inventory Provide Look for root causes of any errors with the objective to bring about changes to reduce errors, improve accuracy, and minimize NAS and aged inventory Collaborate Work closely with internal partners and/or vendors to properly identify merchandise if needed
Qualifications:
Can You Check These Boxes? HS Diploma/G.E.D. Minimum 3 years of office/administrative experience that also included working with exception reports, problem solving, accounting or auditing Knowledge of POPS system including: NFM Purchase Orders, order maintenance and customer account systems preferred. Understanding of theories and scenarios related to even exchanges, credit return memos, and other inventory issues preferred Machine operation experience; or certification on a high-lift within 30 days if necessary for the position Data entry skills per established department requirements Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check
