Job Overview:
Fulfillment Specialist will report to the Procurement and Inventory Manager. The Fulfillment Specialist will support and manage the team by supplying solutions to complex issues related to warehouse storage for PM inventory and assist the fulfillment department with pick, pack, and ship within the inventory management system. This position requires excellent customer service and will collaborate with management and assist in opportunities for efficiency, training, and process improvement.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist the fulfillment department with pick, pack, and shipping to meet the company goal to have all orders shipped by 3 pm the same day. Maintain the inventory room and closet and ensure it is clean and fully stocked. Notify management of major discrepancies regarding materials/inventory, mis shipments, damaged products. Assume additional roles as back-up in cross-functional responsibilities. Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with all vendors. Assist with scanning new inventory, restocking shelves, and disposal of boxes and shipping materials. Assist with monthly inventory audits conducted by finance. Receive products and verify they are in good condition and not damaged. Verify and record all received phone inventory and warehouse inventory. Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in delivery area. Unload merchandise deliveries and ensure all items are accounted for. Report product deficits. Manage training for seasonal or new employees. Performs other/additional duties as assigned.Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively. Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items shipped/received. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable, including excellent attendance. Methodical and accuracy oriented. Willing to work overtime and Saturdays. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.Education and Experience:
High School Degree or GED required. Some college/associate degree from a regionally accredited college preferred. Previous inventory or shipping/receiving experience preferred.Physical Requirements:
Must be able to access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at a time. Must be able to work in a variety of spaces to include cubicle, counter, and desk areas.
