Weekend Shift Hours:
6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Provide support to the manufacturing floor and to ensure kits and assemblies are in stock and available. Maintaining accurate record of on-premises materials/inventory and assisting in overall warehouse organization.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
:- Pull and kit per work order requirements and support raw material fulfillment for production.
- Stock all inventory into an assigned location.
- Maximize the use of available storage space by consolidating materials as necessary and rearrange inventory throughout the hardware room as needed.
- Maintain inventory value and location integrity by ensuring all materials are put in their proper locations.
- Consolidate materials in the racks as needed. Weigh, count and determine stock locations for new items.
- Enter product transfers and maintain accurate inventory counts within the database.
- Learn and utilize MieTrak daily.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting into MieTrak for all inventory activities.
- Respond to personnel regarding stock inquiries.
- Perform cycle counts and be proactive with inventory reconciliation and document those results.
- Investigation of inventory discrepancies, including problem solving for serious and repetitive issues. Recommend and develop ideas for process improvement regarding inventory management.
- Clean and organize the hardware room, maintain a clean environment throughout the facility.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma and one to three years related work experience.
- One to three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- One to three years' experience with inventory control, cycle counts, vendor management and barcode scanning.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems is essential.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Must have experience within manufacturing to kit packages consisting of a complex mix of parts and assemblies.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with all employees.
