Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for a long-term contract opportunity in Irving, Texas. This position supports daily logistics and inventory operations and works closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth product movement, accurate inventory records, and timely documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling shipment updates, inventory tracking, and issue resolution in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate daily transportation and order activity by scheduling shipments, confirming delivery plans, and partnering with vendors and logistics providers. + Prepare pricing requests for transportation and storage services while maintaining strong relationships with warehouse and freight partners. + Track shipment progress from origin to destination, provide regular updates, and communicate with customers, suppliers, and distribution contacts. + Review inventory records across multiple warehouse locations, research discrepancies, and process necessary stock adjustments. + Process billing documentation, support inventory reconciliations, and help resolve shortages, overages, and damaged goods. + Respond to logistics-related inquiries, identify service issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational concerns. + Maintain accurate records and compile supporting documentation for claims, audits, and carrier or warehouse performance reporting. + Support ongoing logistics coordination through systems and spreadsheets used to track inventory, shipments, and key operational metrics.

Requirements Qualifications:

+ 1-2 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, supply chain, or a related operations environment. + Working knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred. + Ability to manage shipment coordination, inventory tracking, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams. + Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate discrepancies and support issue resolution. + Self-motivated work style with strong organizational skills and close attention to detail. + Must be available to work onsite in Irving, Texas three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.
