Inventory Control Clerk

TXsqodIZ8W) Penske Logistics is looking for an Inventory Clerk to be part of an excellent team at our location! This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.   • This is a new operation located in Laredo, Texas. New hire orientation is projected to be in August
Position Details:
Monday to Friday 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm (weekends/holidays as required) $19.
66 base rate
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring system count matches physical inventory Resolve discrepancies at location and pallet level Look for missing product in storage locations Update WMS to match physical through various methods Research and document root cause Accurately receive inventory Work with checkers to ensure accurate receipt of inventory Audit inbound receipts, both physically and through receipt documentations Manage unsalable inventory to resolution Accurately document information on product recalls, including physically segregating as required. Work with inventory management to document and train inventory prores to warehouse operations Assist with daily and weekly reports All other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in warehouse inventory preferred
  • Basicputer skills preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Ability to follow work prores and safety rules
  • Read, write, understand and speak English
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
  • Must have knowledge ofputers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications
  • Must use handheldputers / scanners
  • Operate various material handling equipment; occasionally moving product in warehouse
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required scle, work at the specific location required,plete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment,cation, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
