Job Description

$20.52/hour Mon -Fri, 8am - 5pm up to 4+ OT mandatory SUMMARY Responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating root causes for inventory overages and/or shortages, reviewing held locations, and working with the Inventory Control Manager to establish minimums and maximums for pick slots. Also responsible for validating any variances from PO receipts and system status.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent and 1+ year of relevant experience with warehouse inventory. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, and Word). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multitask, and prioritize work. Can work independently, able to accurately record measurements in number, dimension, size, and weight and have the ability to successfully complete forklift training and safety certification requirements.
Preferred:
Previous knowledge of SAP, cycle counting and forklift experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure all scheduled and immediate cycle counts are performed. Verify inventory and maintains accuracy of bin labels. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Perform routine aisle sweeps confirming empty locations. Process damaged and recoup product. Slot new items as required. Keeps supervisor informed of issues or problems that arise and refer matters beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties. Accurately record product dimensions, sizes, and weight. Safely operate forklift/pallet jack / cherry picker as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
