    Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Shipping Receiving Worker for a manufacturer in Wichita Falls, TX! Work schedule is a 8 hour shift Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat 6:40am
  • 3pm, depending on production needs, overtime may be required.

This position starts at $17.00/hr, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Operate a yard mule to safely maneuver, dock, and stage semi-trailers throughout the yard and loading docks.

Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading.

Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy, damages, and proper documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, inventory records).

Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS/SAP) to process inventory movements and maintain real-time tracking.

Conduct pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections on the yard mule and forklift equipment.

Working hours:

6:40 AM

PM Skills:

Understanding of shipping documentation, basic computer proficiency, and high attention to detail.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied weather conditions in the yard, and sit/drive for extended periods.

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years in a shipping receiving position
  • Experience operating a yard mule (yard truck / hostler / spotter truck) is required
  • CDL experience is required, but active license is not required.
  • Ability to pass internal equipment certification is required.
