Job Description

Hammerton is a leading American designer/manufacturer of custom decorative lighting for the hospitality, commercial and residential markets. Our in-house blown and kiln-fired glass capabilities, combined with our expertise in metal fabrication and machining, make us uniquely capable of addressing the needs of the design industry's most discerning clients. Hammerton lighting can be found in leading five-star hotels and resorts, award-winning restaurants and many of the most beautiful homes in North America. The Inventory Associate is responsible for performing accurate and timely cycle counts to maintain inventory control and support overall warehouse operations. This hands-on warehouse associate role helps identify inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and improve inventory accuracy to reduce stock outs and keep materials flowing efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience as a stocker, warehouse associate, or in inventory control is highly valued.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily cycle counts of warehouse inventory per established schedule. Accurately record count data and compare results against system records. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to the Supply Chain Manager. Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented and reported. Collaborate with warehouse staff and leadership to maintain inventory accuracy. Help identify inventory issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain a clean and organized work area and foll all safety protocols. Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic math and computer skills (Excel, data entry). Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Warehouse environment. Ability to lift 50lbs. Regular exposure to forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
