40.0 Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation. Record and update inventory information using warehouse management systems (WMS). Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items. Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations following warehouse procedures. Collaborate with procurement, inventory control, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area. Operate material handling equipment in compliance with safety standards. Assist with periodic cycle counts and full inventory audits. Support shipping, picking, and other warehouse functions as needed. Requirements 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems (WMS). Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and purchase orders. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Basic computer skills (email, data entry, scanning equipment). Strong communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
