Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a dependable and organized Inventory Associate to support daily inventory and moving operations. This position focuses on receiving, counting, organizing, and tracking furniture, household items, equipment, and other materials while helping maintain accurate inventory records. This is an entry-level opportunity, and previous inventory or moving experience is not required. Training will be provided. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities Receive and organize incoming furniture, boxes, equipment, and supplies Count and verify items against inventory records Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation Label and organize items in designated storage areas Assist with routine inventory checks and cycle counts Record inventory movements and location changes Prepare items for upcoming moves, deliveries, or shipments Assist with loading and unloading items when needed Inspect furniture and other items for visible damage Report missing, damaged, or misplaced items Help locate and retrieve items from storage Keep storage areas organized and easy to navigate Update inventory information using basic computer systems Assist with preparing items for customer pickup or delivery Coordinate with moving and operations team members Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow proper handling and workplace safety procedures Perform other inventory and operational duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail Good organizational skills Basic computer and data-entry skills Ability to accurately count and record items Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Reliable and punctual Good communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift or move items during the workday
Pay:
$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
