Job Description

Warehouse Associate - Inventory Control Position Summary The Warehouse Associate - Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting cycle counts, receiving incoming materials, and ensuring proper material movement and storage within the warehouse and production areas. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, organization, receiving operations, and compliance with standard work while supporting daily warehouse and production needs. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances Receive, inspect, unload, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders Accurately enter receiving transactions into ERP or inventory management systems Coordinate material receiving, put-away, and storage activities to maintain inventory accuracy Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and located in correct inventory locations Perform material transactions accurately and in a timely manner Support FIFO, lot control, and traceability requirements Stage and issue materials to production as required Assist with physical inventory and year-end counts Identify obsolete, excess, or damaged inventory and report findings Maintain a clean, organized warehouse in accordance with 5S standards Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Communicate inventory issues, receiving discrepancies, or shortages to supervisors or planners Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1+ year experience in warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or manufacturing environment Experience receiving and inspecting incoming shipments Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic math and data entry skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory management or ERP systems Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (strongly preferred) Experience with cycle counts, audits, receiving, and discrepancy resolution Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification Knowledge of FIFO, lot control, shipping/receiving, or lean manufacturing concepts Physical Requirements Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
