They research and price compare online when necessary. They tag each item and prepare it for the sales floor by steaming, de-pilling and/or lint rolling. When representing the store, the Inventory Processor is required to always convey the culture and values of the business. The Inventory Processor is someone who has proficient computer skills. They are highly organized, goal/task oriented and have a basic understanding of fashion brands & clothing trends. The Inventory Processor must report to work on time, be dependable, efficient with time management, honest, a team player and strong communication skills.
Job Functions Inventory processing:
Receiving, pricing, steaming and tagging inventory. Quality controlling every item Communicates with consignors using phone or emails as needed providing excellent customer service interactions. Help keep Receiving area organized by condensing and organizing consignments in the staging area Supporting the Management team and sales floor and general store operations Competency Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment Outstanding work ethic and ability to consistently meet daily department goals Excellent organizational & time management skills and acute attention to detail Confident communicator who possesses a positive attitude towards collaboration Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs Work Environment and Conditions This position is normally inside a climate-controlled retail space with a low volume of noise. However, there may be times of working outside during special events or promotions or while assisting customers Physical Demands Must be able to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room (8-10+ hours) while maintaining an efficient sense of urgency pace. Perform physical activities including in engaging in repetitive motions: squeezing, typing, bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, stooping. lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching and/or using a step stool/ladder on a frequent basis. Ability to maneuver merchandise up to 50 pounds. Vision, coordination and reading requirements consistent with the team member's job duties (hanging, bagging, wrapping, and other non-specified duties) Required Education and/or Experience Computer proficiency, Previous data entry, retail and/or fashion experience Position Type Part-time position working 10-20 hours per week primarily for weekend shifts and some weekday shifts as necessary. Must have the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule and the hours necessary. This is an in-store position, not a remote position. Must be able to work hours agreed upon when hiring including weekends. Changes in availability from what was presented on the application may result in withdrawal of the job offer. Attendance is required at paid store meetings typically held outside of normal store hours.
