Job Description
Non-Exempt- Summary Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned: Read master schedule, work orders, pick lists, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Processes material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Makes new bin boxes and labels as needed. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated room. Fills work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Kits up materials and loose parts as required by project. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Reviews consumables and informs Stores Lead when materials run low. Informs Stores Lead whenever materials run close to expiration. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for easy future retrieval. Uses computer to enter records. Inputs pick list worksheets into system so that inventory is adjusted properly and shortages are effectively identified and tracked. Other Requirement This position may require for you to drive a company vehicle and will require a clean driving record. As a pre-employment contingency and prior to being appointed in this role you will be required to present a Valid Washington State Driver s license and may need to provide Jamco- America with a current driving record from the state of Washington s Motor Vehicles office documenting your current driving record status within the past three years. Position may also require that you submit to periodic screening of your driving record. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
