Job Description

Material Specialist Description We are seeking a Material Specialist to support our Technical Glass Products facility. This role ensures materials flow smoothly to manufacturing by handling receiving, inspection, inventory control, stocking, labeling, and distribution. We're looking for someone organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate:
$24/hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (potential for overtime!)

Perks & Benefits Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Temp to Hire 1st Shift Job Responsibilities Pick, stage, and allocate inventory using Pick Lists and BOMs Maintain accurate inventory counts and locations Unpack, label, stock, and replenish materials Monitor shortages and resolve material-related issues Operate a forklift to move materials (certification preferred) Support Kanban systems and 5S workplace organization Perform data entry and complete all inventory documentation Assist with process improvements and inventory management initiatives 2+ years in material distribution, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing Forklift experience Strong computer skills; experience with MRP/ERP systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication Ability to multitask and work independently Knowledge of Lean/continuous improvement tools Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $24.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
