Job Description

This position is a combination of office and warehouse responsibilities. While the majority of the work will involve bookkeeping and inventory management, data entry, reporting, and system administration within Fishbowl and QuickBooks, this position will also spend time in the warehouse auditing inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring products are accurately labeled and stored. The ideal candidate is process-driven, enjoys building and maintaining organized systems, and can effectively communicate with multiple departments to ensure inventory flows seamlessly from purchasing through installation and invoicing.
Responsibilities:
Manage all inventory transactions using Fishbowl Inventory Management Software. Enter purchase data into QuickBooks. Maintain accurate inventory records for window coverings and bathroom accessories. Perform routine cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation. Ensure inventory quantities and locations remain accurate within Fishbowl. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the Purchasing Department. Generate inventory reports and assist with forecasting and inventory planning. Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory is accurately received, stocked, transferred, organized, labeled, and maintained within Fishbowl Inventory Management Software. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse while developing and improving inventory control processes and warehouse organization standards. Perform inventory audits, verify inventory accuracy, and resolve discrepancies before materials are issued to projects. Serve as the primary liaison between the warehouse, purchasing, and accounting teams by ensuring inventory transactions, purchase orders, receiving records, and inventory data remain accurate and synchronized. Support purchasing and accounting by maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with inventory reporting and reconciliations, and communicating inventory shortages, adjustments, and receiving issues. Lead, train, and supervise warehouse personnel by assigning daily tasks, promoting accountability, and ensuring inventory procedures, safety policies, and operational standards are consistently followed. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cross-department communication to support overall purchasing. Qualifications 1-2+ years of inventory management experience in a warehouse environment preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience required. Experience with Fishbowl Inventory Management Software and QuickBooks is strongly preferred. Experience working alongside accounting or purchasing departments is highly desirable. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to become certified). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both an office and warehouse environment. $49,165.50 - $59,210.07 per year
