Job Description
Inventory Specialist Reports to:
Hands-on experience using a retail inventory-management or inventory-tracking platform is required.
Experience conducting physical inventories, stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
Clear, confident, and direct communication skills.
Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information.

The inventory specialist will be responsible for inventory control. As part of proper inventory control, the inventory specialist will maintain compliance-related requirements surrounding inventory management. The inventory specialist will be responsible for some post-harvest duties surrounding sample testingResponsibilities:
Daily tasks:Track Product Movement:
Record wet and dry weights during bucking, hanging, drying, curing, and trimming stagesSystem Compliance:
Enter harvests, packages, waste disposal, and transfers into state seed-to-sale databases.Perform Audits:
Count physical stock often and fix any data errors or missing weights.Manage Packaging:
Label finished goods and move items safely into secure storage vaults.Cycle Counts:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee full physical inventory counts and recurring cycle counts.Sample Testing:
Pulling and trimming flower samples.Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of experience in retail inventory control, inventory management, warehouse inventory, loss prevention, or a closely related role.Hands-on experience using a retail inventory-management or inventory-tracking platform is required.
Experience conducting physical inventories, stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
Clear, confident, and direct communication skills.
