Inventory Control Specialist Location:
Peoria & Dysart Rd.,
Phoenix, AZ Pay Rate:
$24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire About the Opportunity Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join a growing manufacturing team in West Phoenix. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, analyzing discrepancies, and improving inventory processes to support efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with cycle counts and inventory management systems, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform and coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory audits Monitor inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies Investigate root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions Analyze inventory reports and exception data to ensure inventory integrity Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and warehouse management systems Create and apply inventory tags and labels to products and storage locations Prepare inventory balance and variance reports as needed Collaborate with production, warehouse, and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory issues Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes and controls Provide excellent internal customer service across departments Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing required Strong computer skills, including: Microsoft Excel Outlook Word ERP or inventory management systems Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies Excellent communication and organizational skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment COM074 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
