Medical Supply Technicians -Sterile Processing Technicians Join a winning, innovative team. WJM Professional Services, LLC is a leading healthcare management firm with 20 years of experience providing healthcare personnel and administrative staffing services to government agencies, including the Defense Health Agency, the United States Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, National Guard, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. WJM is currently recruiting for a Medical Supply Technician/ Sterile Processor to provide services in Palo Alto, CA. Key Responsibilities The Medical Supply Technicians - Sterile Processing Technicians will provide on-site services for reusable medical devices (RMD) in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers for eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Maintain accurate records of cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance activities. Thoroughly clean instruments and equipment to remove biological material and contaminants. Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate equipment such as V-PRO sterilizers, automated washer/disinfectors, and ultrasonic cleaners. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility protocols. Inspect each instrument for staining, pitting, cracking, and rust. Properly package, label, and document instrument sets to maintain sterility until needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Medical Supply Technician in a hospital, ambulatory surgery center, or other healthcare setting is required. Oral and written proficiency in English. Must have no health or physical disability restrictions that would interfere with the performance of assigned duties.
