Bridge Inventory Specialist Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bridge Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic operations team. This role involves traveling to multiple retail locations daily to manage and maintain inventory accuracy, streamline processes, and ensure product merchandising meets company standards. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, prior inventory experience, and a proactive attitude to ensure efficient store support and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Maintenance & Organization Ensure products are displayed with freshness in mind, rotating stock as needed to maintain quality standards. Pull aging inventory reports and strategically place them in the bins to highlight the % that they are on for sale. Monitor and manage aging inventory using the updated SOP Maintain and update the Expiring Products Sheet for each location, ensuring accurate tracking of items nearing expiration and if needed to be put on sale do so accordingly Batch Management End batches and finish packages as needed, ensuring accurate completion and compliance with inventory requirements. Merchandising & Promotions Optimize store layouts by adhering to company merchandising standards. Assist in showcasing new products and unique promotions in a visually appealing and customer-friendly manner. Ensure merchandising aligns with seasonal promotions and store-specific strategies. Auditing & Reconciliation Conduct mid-month and end-of-month audits , ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards. Perform audit reconciliations , identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly. Review in-stock levels and identify any discrepancies in inventory. Processing Inventory & Orders Assist in receiving and processing orders from distribution, verifying shipment accuracy, and organizing stock accordingly. Reach out to the distribution team regarding discrepancies via ticket submissions , ensuring timely resolution and updates. Work with store teams to maintain adequate inventory levels without overstocking or understocking.
Requirements:
Reliable Transportation:
Must have dependable personal transportation for travel between multiple store locations daily. Mileage reimbursement may be provided.
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of inventory or retail experience required. Familiarity with retail management systems is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Proficiency in batch management and familiarity with inventory reporting systems. Ability to communicate effectively with store teams and management.
Availability:
Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to travel to multiple locations daily, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods. Why Join Us?
