Job Summary The Perioperative Inventory Control Coordinator assists the Surgical Services Managers and staff in the maintenance of clinical supplies, ensuring availability of all necessary supplies. Monitors inventory usage compared to budget, establishes supply PAR levels, orders and restocks needed supplies. Serves as a liaison among Purchasing, Receiving, Distribution, Outsourced Inventory supplier (Consignment, etc.), and patient units. Collaborates with clinical staff and physicians as a key member of the Perioperative team. Accountable to key performance indicators to assess inventory performance including inventory turnover, stock outs, service levels, inventory accuracy and obsolete inventory.
Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor`s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
Knowledge of basic Materials Management principles preferred. 2 years previous Healthcare supply chain and/or Surgical experience strongly preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
Minimum License Requirement:
BLS required. Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
Pay Range:
$28.14 - $42.21
