Buyer & Inventory Control Specialist Supply Chain & Operations Pasadena, CA Full-Time Position Summary The Buyer & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, monitoring raw material and finished goods inventory levels, and ensuring the timely availability of products and supplies. This role supports operational efficiency by balancing inventory accuracy, cost control, and procurement effectiveness — minimizing both shortages and excess stock. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality standards, and delivery terms Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies Monitor supplier performance across delivery timelines, product quality, and service levels Maintain strong vendor relationships and proactively resolve purchasing or delivery issues Research alternative suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities Coordinate purchasing requirements with Operations, Production, Warehouse, and Accounting teams Inventory Control Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock availability and prevent disruptions Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations Analyze inventory usage trends and forecast replenishment needs Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in a timely manner Maintain accurate inventory records within NetSuite or the applicable ERP system Develop and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulatory requirements Maintain accurate vendor and raw material documentation related to purchasing and inventory activities Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain operations Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is preferred Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and purchasing best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment About The Pak Group The Pak Group (www.bellarise.com) is a privately held global business headquartered in Europe.
