Job Description

Job Summary Coordinate and process inventory in accordance with AMS and its clients set processes, operating procedures, and policies. Report any inventory issues. Responsible for Receiving all parcel and supply shipments. Counting, sorting, and weighing all inbound shipments, and verifying the receipt of the same in accordance with the policies and procedures of AMS and its clients. Essential Job Functions Work closely with Supervisor or Inventory Manager Follow systematic inventory levels Maintain accurate inventory control or count procedures Transferring product from one location to another Assist other departments when help is needed Maintain clear and effective communication on all inventory issues Performs inventory moves Performs and understanding of cycle counts Performs and control physical inventories (able to provide directions and answers to count teams) Performs inventory adjustments in the system, and should be able to explain why adjustments are necessary Exports proper inventory report files from InOrder into an excel format Verify and inspect incoming parcel and supplies Data entry of receipts, adjustments, and transfers Accurate filing of documents Communicate with truck drivers Communicate with Client Services Properly dispersing shipments to correct recipients According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), employees must be able to perform the "essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation. Job Specifications - includes Education, physical and mental demands, and working conditions Minimum one to two years inventory control or related experience Excellent problem-solving skills. Bilingual preferred, but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Forklift experience. InOrder system knowledge is preferred. Extreme attention to detail. Working Conditions This job operates in a warehouse environment and could be exposed to various temperature changes. This role typically requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
