Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

ASAP POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support fast-paced production and warehouse operations in a high-accountability manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory control, material handling, cycle counting, kitting, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a demanding operational setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pick, lift, organize, and move hardware, raw materials, purchased parts, machined details, and assemblies to support inventory control operations Perform material handling and inventory transactions while maintaining inventory accuracy Assemble racks, organize supplies, and complete additional inventory-related tasks as directed by leadership Create and maintain kits of parts, materials, and hardware while ensuring all required components are accounted for Maintain strict material handling practices and follow established inventory procedures Monitor shelf-life storage requirements and ensure proper stock rotation Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with inventory audits Utilize ERP systems to track inventory movement and maintain accurate records Support warehouse organization and continuous improvement initiatives Operate inventory equipment and assist with shipping, receiving, and storage activities as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of inventory control or warehouse experience Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred 5+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with inventory management, material handling, and kitting processes Forklift experience or ability to operate warehouse equipment Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, manufacturing, or related industries preferred
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass an Air Force background check for access to Vandenberg Space Force Base Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support operational demands and production schedules Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, stoop, push, pull, stretch, and carry materials throughout the shift
