In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, optimizing stock management processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across warehouse distribution, procurement, and logistics functions. Your expertise will help streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical skills and passion for process improvement in a fast-paced environment committed to operational excellence. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or AS400. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify discrepancies, root causes of stock variances, and opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships effectively. Perform demand planning and forecasting using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Nielsen data, and supply chain analytics to support inventory stocking strategies. Oversee shipping & receiving operations, including order fulfillment, materials handling, heavy lifting, and coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Utilize data visualization techniques to present insights on inventory trends, pricing strategies, and category management opportunities to stakeholders. Lead process improvement initiatives focused on warehouse distribution efficiency, materials management, and reducing cycle times through root cause analysis. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control roles with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP or AS400. Demonstrated data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics tools; experience with data collection and visualization is highly desirable. Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, contracts management, and pricing strategies. Hands-on experience with logistics operations such as shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, materials handling, and demand planning. Ability to perform root cause analysis to resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently; strong analysis skills are essential. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred; familiarity with heavy lifting procedures is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments including retail management and merchandising teams.
