If so, then M&N Plumbing Supply Company would like you to join their team! Established in 2002, M&N Plumbing Supply Company is a family-owned and operated wholesale supply company that sells plumbing-related materials to the construction industry. We are searching for capable, hard-working team members to help with our company's expansion at our Denver location. The Purchasing Agent/Inventory Controller will be responsible for procuring merchandise for resale and inventory management, negotiating with vendors to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and terms of purchase to ensure optimum order-fill rates and customer satisfaction. Analyze product on hand and projected product sales. Create vendor Purchase Orders to maintain the right product mix, optimum shelf quantities, and satisfy projected product sales. Identify the slow-moving/devalued inventory. Perform daily cycle counts. Research and resolve all inventory discrepancies. Negotiate with and maintain successful relationships with suppliers and vendors. Maintain market intelligence and report changes in pricing levels and potential problem areas or conditions that could adversely affect the Company's procurement position. As a Purchasing Agent/Inventory Controller, you must possess close attention to detail and be analytical. Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills are essential. Be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently. High school diploma or equivalent industry experience Minimum 1+ years of purchasing and inventory control experience 5 years of industry experience Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with team members and vendors Ability to analyze sales and procurement data, and understand the market trends to make the best purchasing decisions Our ideal candidate will also possess: A comprehensive knowledge of plumbing products Wholesale distribution experience Intermediate+ Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills Experience with an inventory management system (Eclipse) The compensation for this position starts at $60k per year depending on experience. We pay 95% of the employees', 50% of the dependents monthly medical premium, in addition to 95% of the employee plus dependents monthly dental premium, 6 Paid Holidays, and provide a matching 401k contribution up to 4%.
