$21-$24/hour , based on experience and qualifications About Pedal Bike Shop Pedal is a premier independently owned, full-service bicycle shop in Littleton, Colorado. We're looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, understands bicycles and bicycle products, and enjoys working with systems, data, and inventory. About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Bicycle Shop Inventory & Data Specialist to manage accurate purchase order entry and product receiving while helping maintain the integrity of our inventory, product data, pricing, promotions, and online store. Accurate PO entry and receiving are the primary functions of this role. You'll work extensively in Lightspeed Retail to ensure products are received correctly, costs and inventory are accurate, and product information is consistent across our systems. You'll also help maintain our Workstand website integration, manage product pricing and promotions, and identify and resolve discrepancies between our systems. Bicycle knowledge is required. You don't need to be a mechanic, but you should understand bicycles, components, accessories, and the terminology used in a professional bike shop. ResponsibilitiesPurchase Order Entry & Product Receiving Accurately enter and maintain purchase orders in Lightspeed Retail. Receive incoming products accurately and efficiently, ensuring quantities, costs, SKUs, UPCs/EANs, and other product information match the purchase order and vendor documentation. Research and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, and products received. Ensure inventory is accurately updated when products are received. Identify incorrect, duplicate, or inconsistent vendor and product information and make corrections. Follow established receiving and inventory procedures and help improve them as needed. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records in Lightspeed Retail. Monitor inventory discrepancies and investigate their causes. Manage inventory adjustments and help resolve counting or receiving issues. Maintain accurate product SKUs, UPCs/EANs, vendor information, costs, MSRP, and other product data. Help maintain inventory processes and SOPs. Product Data, Pricing & Promotions Maintain accurate product information across our systems. Keep MSRP, MAP, retail pricing, and product availability current. Update pricing as manufacturer and vendor information changes. Manage sales, promotions, discounts, and pricing updates across Lightspeed and Workstand. Ensure promotions are accurately reflected both in-store and online. Maintain consistent product and vendor naming. Website & Workstand Help maintain the integration between Lightspeed Retail and Workstand. Ensure products, inventory, pricing, and availability are displaying accurately online. Make product and catalog updates within Workstand as needed. Monitor for discrepancies between Lightspeed and the website. Troubleshoot integration and data issues and coordinate resolution when necessary. Data & Operational Support Monitor data integrity across Lightspeed, Workstand, and other business systems. Run reports and investigate inventory or product-data discrepancies. Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain documentation and SOPs for inventory and data processes. Work with sales, service, and ownership to resolve system and inventory issues. Qualifications Strong knowledge of bicycles, components, accessories, and bicycle industry terminology is required. Experience working in a bicycle shop or bicycle-related business strongly preferred. Experience with Lightspeed Retail or a similar retail POS/inventory system is required. Experience with purchase order entry, receiving, inventory, or product data. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with product data, spreadsheets, reports, and multiple systems. Able to identify discrepancies and independently research the cause. Comfortable learning new software and troubleshooting system issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments. Able to manage multiple priorities and follow projects through to completion. Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team. Preferred Experience Workstand experience E-commerce or website product management Retail inventory management Product catalog/data management Experience managing pricing, MAP, MSRP, or promotions Experience with bicycle industry vendor systems or product feeds Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills Growth Opportunity As the role develops, there is potential to take on additional purchasing and vendor-management responsibilities .
