Do you live in Katana and SAP Concur, and know how to call a supplier, push for a better price, and source it cheaper straight from the manufacturer? At Escapology Manufacturing, the Procurement & Inventory Specialist is the lifeline of production—the quartermaster who keeps the gears turning behind the scenes. You make sure every department (carpentry, paint, FX, fabrication, and development) has the right tool, screw, sheet of plywood, and spool of filament exactly when it's needed, at the best price you can find. When you do your job well, no build ever waits on materials—and every dollar stretches further. You'll own the entire procurement process—from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, to creating and issuing POs, to receiving, inventorying, and reconciling against cost-based accounting standards. You'll run it fast and keep it accurate, acting as the bridge between operations, accounting, and production so nothing slips through the cracks. Your Role on the Production Floor Own the
Procurement Process:
Run sourcing, PO creation, ordering, receiving, and reconciliation end to end—fast turnaround and accurate records every time, so production never sits idle and the books always tie out.
Source Smart and Negotiate Hard:
Build and manage supplier relationships, call vendors to negotiate better pricing, and chase bulk and volume savings. Go direct to the source—including overseas manufacturers in China—to bring down cost without compromising quality or timing.
Keep Production Stocked, Never Stalled:
Maintain accurate inventory across every department and stock location, anticipate what's coming, and reorder ahead of need. The right material at the right time keeps the entire operation moving. Run It in

Manage purchasing, inventory, and material tracking in Katana, and handle spend, invoices, and expense reconciliation in SAP Concur—keeping data clean, current, and accurate so every team can trust the numbers and you can spot a shortage before it becomes a stoppage. Keep the
Books Accurate:
Reconcile all purchases to cost-based accounting standards and ensure accuracy in reporting—clean numbers, no surprises, fully traceable. Lead the
Inventory Counts:
Run quarterly and year-end inventory audits, track material usage, and keep the system tight, lean, and organized. Build the System for
Scale:
Supply replacement parts and materials to franchise operations, and help develop and refine our inventory systems as we grow into a larger facility.
Sitewide Responsibilities:
Help keep the site clean, organized, and in good working order, and take part in company-wide initiatives, projects, and operational duties that keep the facility running at its best—supporting other departments as the needs of the business dictate. What You Bring We're looking for an organized, accurate professional who works fast, owns the details, and keeps production supplied without missing a beat. Required Foundations Hands-on experience with Katana (or a closely comparable manufacturing ERP/MRP) running day-to-day purchasing, inventory, and material tracking—direct Katana experience is a top priority for us. Hands-on experience with SAP Concur, managing purchasing spend, invoices, and expense reconciliation—nearly as central to this role as Katana. Proven supplier-relations and sourcing skills— comfortable calling vendors to negotiate better pricing, finding bulk and volume savings, going direct to the source, and sourcing from overseas manufacturers, including suppliers in China. 2+ years in purchasing and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. 2+ years of cost-based accounting or bookkeeping experience, with clean, accurate reconciliation and reporting. A track record of fast, accurate work— quick procurement turnaround paired with counts, POs, and reconciliations that are right the first time. Strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Bonus Points For Direct importing experience—freight, customs, and lead-time management for overseas orders. Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing production environment. Familiarity with barcode or digital inventory tracking systems. A passion for puzzles, immersive entertainment, or themed environments.
Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
