You verify counts, check quality, and route items precisely where they belong. By mid-morning, you're reorganizing a high-traffic aisle to speed up picks for internal teams. After lunch, you run an audit that catches a minor discrepancy and reconcile it before it becomes a problem. Before the day ends, you generate a clean inventory report that gives everyone the clarity they need. Role Purpose As our Stockroom Inventory Control Coordinator, you'll keep inventory accurate, the stockroom orderly, and materials moving on time—powering the work of every department you support. Where You'll Work On-site in Danbury, CT. What You'll Handle Maintain precise, current inventory records and ensure stock levels reflect reality. Receive incoming goods, inspect for quality and quantity, and store them correctly. Design and refine stockroom layouts for fast access and safe flow. Execute cycle counts and full audits to spot and resolve variances. Stage, pick, and prepare materials for timely distribution to internal teams. Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and boost efficiency. Use inventory software and Office tools to track stock and produce clear reports. Uphold a clean, safe, policy-compliant stockroom at all times. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; bonus points for logistics/supply chain education. Hands-on experience running inventory and stockroom operations. Meticulous attention to detail and strong computer skills. Comfort working independently and within a collaborative team. Proficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office (including Excel). Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
