Job Description

Position Summary The Mid-Shift Stocking Specialist supports daily stocking, inventory movement, product consolidation, and warehouse operations across both facilities. This is a self-directed position requiring strong initiative, organization, and accountability. The successful candidate will understand their regular responsibilities, identify what needs to be completed, and begin working without waiting for constant direction. This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership, stays productive throughout the shift, and helps wherever needed. Primary Responsibilities Build safe, accurate, and organized pallets for transportation between facilities. Secure and prepare pallets to prevent product damage during transport. Transport pallets and products safely to the second facility. Load and unload products while following established safety procedures. Stock products in their designated locations accurately and efficiently. Consolidate products and partially filled pallets to improve organization and maximize warehouse space. Complete assigned cycle counts and accurately document inventory quantities and discrepancies. Investigate or report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and misplaced items. Maintain clean and organized stocking, staging, and storage areas. Assist other departments as needed. Communicate completed work, outstanding priorities, and operational concerns to management. Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling requirements. Complete additional warehouse duties as needed. Performance Expectations This position requires an employee who can work independently and manage routine responsibilities without step-by-step direction each day. Arrive on time and be ready to begin working at the scheduled start time. Review current priorities and immediately begin productive work. Recognize when pallets need to be built, products need to be moved, areas need to be consolidated, or inventory needs attention. Move on to the next priority after completing a task without waiting to be told. Ask questions when clarification is needed while still taking ownership of regular duties. Maintain a steady and productive work pace throughout the shift. Complete work accurately and report issues promptly. Support the overall operation instead of limiting work to one task or department. Qualifications Previous warehouse, stocking, inventory, or material-handling experience is preferred. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong initiative, reliability, and time-management skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities. Attention to detail when stocking products and performing cycle counts. Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with multiple departments. Experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred, where applicable. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move products throughout the shift. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse work for extended periods. Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We place priority in an environment of inclusion, diversity and social justice and are committed to securing a better, brighter way forward for our employees, our markets, and our communities.
