Back of House Inventory Specialist (5:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Starting Pay:
$15.00-$16.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule Monday-Saturday (5 days a week) Availability between 5:00 AM and 1:00 PM is required Consistent morning schedule with occasional flexibility based on truck deliveries and business needs. Position Overview We're looking for a dependable, hardworking team member who enjoys staying active and takes pride in organization, efficiency, and attention to detail. This role is vital to the success of our kitchen by ensuring inventory is received, organized, and stocked so our team can serve guests with excellence every day. This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling inventory throughout the shift. If you enjoy staying busy, working independently, and taking ownership of an important operation, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Receive and put away truck deliveries ranging from approximately 150-250 cases , up to five deliveries per week . Organize all inventory in designated storage areas, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storage. Rotate all products using First In, First Out (FIFO) inventory practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe storage environment. Pull and restock chicken and other products throughout the day according to production allocation sheets, catering orders, and sales forecasts. Lift, move, and restock cases weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or concerns to leadership. Assist with additional kitchen support duties as needed to ensure operational excellence. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry 35 - 50 pounds throughout the shift. Safely move large quantities of inventory using proper lifting techniques. Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and climb throughout an 8-hour shift. Push and pull inventory carts safely. Work comfortably in refrigerated and freezer environments for short periods. Maintain a fast pace while staying organized and detail-oriented. What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Strong work ethic with a willingness to perform physically demanding work. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Commitment to food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, stockroom, logistics, or restaurant operations is preferred but not required.
