SUPPLY TECHNICIAN
(TITLE 32), GS-2005-7, you will maintain an accure automed accounting and reporting system of accountable property equipment and components within the organizion. Monitors and accounts for on-hand assets and recommends actions to improve logistical readiness within the organizion. Participes in segments of management studies on the distribution of equipment assets and makes recommendions based on analysis. Monitors and participes in the redistribution of equipment by recommending transfer and turn-in of items as approprie. Recommends leral transfer of equipment between organizions. Conducts accountable property reconciliion. Reviews document registers, document files, suspense files, and account records to verify postings and consistency with automed/manual accountable property balances. Instructs organizion personnel on proper ordering and turn-in procedures. Prepares reports on the condition of records, shortages, inventories, corrections, and actions recommended to improve property accountability in accordance with regulory guidance. Maintains a suspense file of reconciliion, pending actions and other pertinent da pertaining to property accountability. Maintains the logistical file to support accountable property reconciliion. AREA OF CONSIDERATION
: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Cegory 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Cegory 3: All current military members of the Florida Nional Guard; and Cegory 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida Nional Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Stus technicians. First considerion given to Cegory 1.

: Must have experience, educion, or training in a variety of operions or situions concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered; experience of basic or commonly applied rules, procedures, or operions such as, filling out, posting, filing, controlling, or coding documents and/or transactions; experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
:

GS07 Must have least one year of specialized experiences the GS-05 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience governing supply regulions, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment; experience conducting searches for required informion; reconstruct records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operions support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts; experience performing various aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems reled to segments in one or more major areas of supply management; experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey informion and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc; experience controlling supply stocks and accounting for equipment, caloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures; experience with complex supply transactions; and/or providing supply operions support; experience coordining with other organizions on complex and controversial supply issues; experience analyzing, developing, evaluing to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc; experience with inventory management supply system; experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulions to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
TEMPORARY
PROMOTION- For Title 32 selectees only: This is an obliged position (incumbent is on a military tour). If a permanent employee in the Title 32 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will retain their permanent stus AND return to their previous Title 32 position once incumbent returns from military duty. If the military tour member, who has reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her reemployment rights within 5 years, the selected individual may remain in this position without further competition.
INDEFINITE
APPOINTMENT-For Current Title 5 selectees only: This is an obliged position (incumbent is on a military tour). If an on-board individual employed in the Title 5 excepted civil service accepts this position, he/she will receive an indefinite appointment (Tenure 3).
