Job Category Position Summary The Inventory & Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory transactions, supporting supply chain operations, and ensuring accurate stock levels to meet operational and sales objectives. This role collaborates with internal teams, third-party logistics providers (3PL), and external partners to maintain inventory accuracy, streamline processes, and ensure efficient product flow. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inventory Management & ERP Enter inventory receipts, perform stock movements, and create/manage production orders in SAP. Maintain accurate and timely inventory transactions to ensure system integrity. Monitor stock levels to support sales demand and operational needs. Classify inventory (ABCD, slow-moving, obsolete) and maintain lifecycle accuracy. Investigate, analyze, and resolve inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis. Supply Chain & Distribution Process import/export orders and maintain shipment tracking documentation. Coordinate with 3PL providers to resolve inventory and shipment issues. Verify inbound and outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation (BOLs, pick tickets, etc.). Review shipping documentation and freight bills for accuracy and policy compliance. Production & Scheduling Schedule on-site and off-site value-added services (e.g., shrink wrap, repacking). Support and learn 3PL production processes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and forecasting to ensure inventory availability. Inventory Visibility & Partner Coordination Track inventory of packaging and finished goods, including at remote partner locations. Recommend replenishment to maintain appropriate stock levels. Ensure accurate inventory records across all internal and external locations. Reporting & Analysis Generate and manage key operational reports, including: Shipped not invoiced Open orders "At-once" orders Inventory availability Returns and unshipped orders Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Continuous Improvement & Compliance Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts, including discrepancy resolution. Support continuous improvement initiatives and 6S Lean standards. Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and applicable regulations. Systems & Cross-Functional Support Develop proficiency in ERP systems; support training for team members as needed. Provide backup support across supply chain functions. Assist with system improvements and process enhancements. Ability to write reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Education Requires high school diploma, or G.E.D. and 1-3 years of warehouse or supply chain experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Other Skills and Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including intermediate Excel skills (advanced skills preferred). Experience with ERP system (SAP preferred). Understanding of inventory control and supply chain operations. Experience working with 3PL providers is a plus. Must be able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective communication and teamwork.
