The primary responsibility of the candidate is to ensure that the warehouse is organized and maintained in a clean and orderly manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, heavy lifting, loading trucks, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive, store, and organize inventory according to established procedures Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that accurate stock levels are maintained Load and unload trucks with inventory as needed Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space Keep accurate records of inventory movements and adjustments Notify management of any discrepancies in inventory levels Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals Work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations. Inventory experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Proficient in using a computer and printer. Able to receive emails and print them if needed. Experience with Excel or Sheets a plus. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends as required
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of heavy objects Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Must be able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a seasonal flexible job. Our busy season is from March - October. We will need help throughout that time. Typically 5-20 hours per week, 2-4 days per week.
