Job Purpose:
The Inventory Management Specialist supports a future federal client by managing inventory planning, demand forecasting, repair validation, and supply chain optimization activities. This role ensures the efficient availability and distribution of critical assets while supporting mission readiness through effective inventory management and logistics planning.
Responsibilities:
Analyze inventory requirements and develop effective supply plans. Perform demand forecasting and inventory planning activities. Identify, validate, and prioritize supply and repair requirements. Coordinate organic and contractor repair programs. Monitor inventory levels and recommend corrective actions to improve asset availability. Resolve complex inventory and supply chain issues. Optimize global asset distribution and inventory utilization. Utilize Air Force logistics and budget systems to support operational planning. Prepare reports, metrics, and executive briefings for leadership. Collaborate with logistics teams to improve supply chain performance and mission readiness. Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and contract requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum of eight (8) years of Air Force supply chain management experience. Experience with inventory management, demand planning, and logistics operations. Knowledge of Air Force logistics systems and budgetary processes. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex inventory and supply chain challenges. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Active Secret Security Clearance (no interim). Strativia understands that our staff is our number one asset.
