Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee inventory accuracy, optimize warehouse distribution processes, and ensure seamless supply chain operations. Your expertise in inventory management systems, data analytics, and procurement will drive efficiency and support our company's growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where process improvement and strategic sourcing are key to success. Duties Manage inventory levels through regular data collection, analysis, and reconciliation using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP or AS400. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies, stock shortages, or excesses, implementing corrective actions promptly. Coordinate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships for cost-effective materials handling. Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to monitor supply chain analytics, demand planning, and inventory trends for informed decision-making. Oversee shipping & receiving operations, including order fulfillment, materials handling, and freight coordination with 3PL providers. Perform process improvement initiatives to streamline stocking procedures, reduce waste, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency. Operate forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols during materials movement. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, warehouse distribution, and inventory control techniques. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (SAP, AS400), SQL, and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis, demand forecasting, and root cause analysis. Effective negotiation skills for procurement activities and vendor management. Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts and understanding of shipping & receiving processes. Ability to interpret complex data sets for demand planning and supply chain optimization. Familiarity with e-commerce logistics, retail management practices, and contracts management is a plus. $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
