Job Description

Job Overview Noble Staffing is currently looking for Inventory Clerks in the city of Romeoville, IL. A Logistics inventory job duties encompass the end-to-end management of a company's stock. Professionals in these roles maintain optimal stock levels, track the flow of goods through the supply chain, process shipping and receiving paperwork, and reconcile physical counts with computerized records
Hours:
7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay Rate:
Starting $23-$26/hr. Responsibilities 1.
Inventory Control & Auditing Cycle Counting:
Perform regular physical inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of system records.
Discrepancy Resolution:
Investigate and correct any shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
Data Management:
Update and maintain real-time stock data in systems like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Stock Optimization:
Set ideal reorder points and manage stock turnover to prevent stockouts or overstocking. 2.
Warehousing & Logistics Receiving & Shipping:
Inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and prepare outgoing orders for distribution.
Storage & Organization:
Ensure products are stored safely, labeled correctly, and organized for easy retrieval.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pack, and process orders using platforms like Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). 3.
Supply Chain Coordination Liaison Duties:
Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure on-time delivery.
Transportation Management:
Track freight shipments and coordinate the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods. 4.
Reporting & Compliance Performance Metrics:
Compile reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and shipping costs.
