Incumbent serves as Inventory Specialist for the St. Joseph County Archives and Records Center, responsible for maintaining, delivering, picking up, and filing records. Reorganizes files, builds shelves, and condenses boxes to make space for new incoming documents. Operates fork-lift and pallet jack as necessary. Performs related duties as assigned. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Incumbent performs duties in a standard office environment, involving sitting and walking at will, working in extreme temperatures, working near fumes, odors, dust, and dirt, working in high places such as ladders, lifting/carrying objects weighing 25 to 50+ pounds, pushing/pulling objects, crouching/kneeling, bending, reaching, driving, close vision, hearing sounds/communication, and handling/grasping objects.
