The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management or warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient processes, and effective communication with a diverse team and client base. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Train, coach, and evaluate inventory staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Communicate effectively with English and Spanish-speaking team members and clients. Utilize inventory management systems (IMS) to track inventory and workflow. Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory management. Prepare and present inventory reports to management. Support audits and reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations. Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written). Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Proven track record in improving inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Proficiency in inventory management systems (IMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with EDI and TMS systems. Forklift certification is a plus.
