Job Description

Job Summary:
The Cannabis Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing, tracking, and maintaining accurate cannabis inventory in compliance with state regulations. This role ensures product integrity, accurate reporting, and smooth coordination with the day -to- day retail operations. We are seeking enthusiastic retail leader candidates to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Manage daily cannabis inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations Ensure full compliance with state tracking systems (e.g., METRC ) Receive, log, label, and store cannabis products accurately Support all vault to floor stock movement, completing timely execution of product to support floor sales Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or losses immediately Coordinate and handle all deliveries and processing of transfers Help support all inventory related tasks, maintain proper documentation for compliance and inspections Manage all Metrc tasks and related processes in store related compliance Train staff on inventory procedures and compliance requirements Follow procedures and standards for all inventory related systems Responsible for executing all daily related tasks at the dispensary, to include existing procedures, policies and standards Ensuring compliance with all Cannabis Control Commission regulations This position requires accurate daily record keeping to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly Implement inventory control best practices to reduce waste and shrinkage Assist with product recalls, destruction, and returns when necessary Support your team with excellent customer service Other duties as assigned such as budtender when needed
Requirements :
Previous experience in cannabis inventory, compliance, or operations preferred Strong understanding of state cannabis regulations Experience with seed-to-sale tracking systems (METRC) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move inventory (typically up to 50 lbs) Leadership or supervisory experience a plus Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Must by 21 years of age Skills and Competencies Inventory management and data accuracy Regulatory compliance and documentation Problem-solving and discrepancy resolution Time management and multitasking Strong communication and training skills
