Position Overview:
The Picker/Inventory Specialist is responsible for accurately picking, staging, and organizing inventory to support production and order fulfillment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory counts, ensuring materials are readily available, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick and stage materials for production and customer orders based on pick lists. Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts. Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies. Maintain inventory accuracy in the system by updating counts and reporting discrepancies. Organize warehouse storage areas for efficiency, safety, and cleanliness. Assist with packaging and preparing orders for shipment when needed. Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) as trained. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. Comfortable using inventory management systems and basic computer skills. Forklift certification a plus (training can be provided).
