Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized METRC Inventory Support Specialist to join our dispensary team. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, performing cycle counts, auditing cannabis inventory, and ensuring compliance with all Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) regulations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with METRC and a strong understanding of inventory control procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of cannabis inventory. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances. Maintain accurate inventory records in METRC and the POS system. Monitor package transfers, package adjustments, destructions, and conversions within METRC. Conduct routine audits of flower, concentrates, vapes, edibles, and accessories. Verify all products are properly tagged, labeled, and compliant with CRA regulations. Assist with receiving shipments and verifying inventory accuracy. Support store management during state audits and compliance inspections. Identify inventory issues and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with managers and budtenders to ensure inventory integrity. Assist with inventory reporting and operational analysis. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of cannabis industry experience preferred. Proven experience using METRC is required. Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits. Strong understanding of Michigan CRA compliance requirements. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dutchie POS. Previous inventory control, purchasing, or warehouse experience. Knowledge of cannabis products and packaging requirements. Experience preparing for CRA inspections and audits. What Success Looks Like Inventory accuracy consistently exceeds 99%. METRC records remain compliant and audit-ready. Inventory discrepancies are identified and resolved quickly.
