Job Description

Inventory Specialist High Society is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to oversee daily inventory operations within our dispensary. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with all Michigan CRA regulations, and managing the flow of cannabis products from receipt through sale. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They have a strong understanding of inventory management, compliance, and cannabis operations, and can work independently while collaborating with store leadership. Responsibilities Oversee all daily inventory operations and ensure inventory accuracy Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and cycle counts Receive, verify, and process incoming deliveries Maintain accurate inventory records in METRC, Dutchie, and internal systems Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and variances Coordinate product transfers, reconciliations, returns, and audits Ensure all products are properly labeled, packaged, and stored according to company standards Maintain clean, organized, and compliant inventory storage areas Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs to management Train and assist Inventory Assistants and other team members on inventory procedures Ensure compliance with all Michigan CRA regulations and company SOPs Prepare inventory reports and communicate inventory trends to management Perform additional inventory and operational duties as assigned Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Previous inventory management experience required, cannabis industry experience preferred Experience using METRC is required or strongly preferred Experience with Dutchie POS is preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Comfortable working with cannabis products daily Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Proficient with basic computer systems and inventory software Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Schedule Full-time position Weekend availability is required What We're Looking For Strong leadership and accountability Excellent organizational and time management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement Join a growing cannabis company where compliance, teamwork, and operational excellence drive everything we do.
