Inventory Specialist Clarity Cannabis Hazel Park, MI Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Inventory management Attention to detail Cleaning Manual handling Quality data entry Time management Full Job Description Clarity Cannabis is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to oversee all inventory operations within our dispensary. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring compliance with Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) requirements, managing METRC and Dutchie inventory records, and supporting daily retail operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and understands the importance of compliance in the cannabis industry. Essential ResponsibilitiesInventory Management Receive and verify all incoming deliveries. Process product intake into METRC and Dutchie. Ensure all products are accurately labeled and stored. Maintain accurate inventory counts at all times. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. Conduct full inventory audits as scheduled. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies immediately. Monitor product movement from receiving through final sale. Organize back stock for maximum efficiency. Compliance Maintain compliance with all Michigan CRA regulations. Ensure all inventory activities comply with company SOPs. Prepare inventory for CRA inspections and internal audits. Maintain accurate records of transfers, returns, destructions, and adjustments. Report compliance concerns immediately to management. Sales Floor Support Restock sales floor throughout the day. Build and replenish display inventory. Remove expired, damaged, or recalled products. Verify pricing and product information is accurate. Ensure budtenders have adequate inventory during peak business hours. Reporting & Communication Generate inventory reports for management. Communicate shortages, variances, and inventory trends. Assist management with forecasting inventory needs. Coordinate with purchasing to maintain appropriate stock levels. Organization Maintain a clean, organized inventory room. Follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices. Properly organize products by category, brand, and batch. Maintain security and chain of custody for all cannabis products. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Previous inventory experience required. Cannabis industry experience preferred. Experience with METRC required. Experience with Dutchie or other cannabis POS systems preferred. Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High attention to detail and accuracy. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting. Comfortable working in stockroom and retail environments. Ability to use handheld scanners, computers, and inventory software throughout the workday.
