Job Description

- Be a team player with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
- Work cooperatively with customers, suppliers, drivers, co-workers, and key departments to meet daily service demands.
- Coordinate, monitor, and support warehousing activities in line with Cold‑Link Logistics and customer requirements, including domestic/export shipping, WMS order processing, appointment scheduling, shipping audits, and order confirmations.
- Perform accurate WMS transactions and utilize Warehouse Management Systems and office software to support daily operations.
- Coordinate and/or prepare all required shipping paperwork, including picking and loading documents, packing lists, bills of lading, shipping manifests, and receiving notifications, while maintaining all required records.
- Coordinate activities within warehouse appointment scheduling systems.
- Initiate and implement strong customer service and inventory management practices in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain the highest levels of customer service by handling requests and concerns promptly, accurately, and professionally.
- Work safely and efficiently, making the best use of time while supporting overall operational goals.
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as operational needs require, including working until the job is complete.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
- 2+ years of customer service experience, with a preference for experience in shipping and receiving.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and office communications systems; Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
- Ability to read and interpret policies, operating procedures, and business documents, and to write routine business correspondence.
- Ability to solve problems, planning, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as required in daily warehousing operations.
- Willingness to follow and support all safety policies and procedures.
- Experience with forklift and scissor lift equipment is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation in order to commute daily to work.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand at a workstation and around the warehouse for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to be in a multi-temperature warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from outside ambient to -20 degrees F.
