Job Description

Think of yourself as part organizational expert, part quality controller, part logistics coordinator, and part compliance guardian. You'll work closely with the Store Management to ensure that every product is properly received, organized, and ready for sale according to our high standards and regulatory requirements. The Must-Haves (Minimum Qualifications): At least 21 years old High school diploma or GED Passion for and knowledge about cannabis and cannabis products Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass pre-employment background check (this is a sensitive position) The Game-Changers (Preferred Qualifications): 1+ year of inventory experience where you've learned systems and organization Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations Customer service and cannabis retail experience that shows you understand the bigger picture Experience working in regulated environments where accuracy and compliance matter
The Essential Skills:
Knowledge of inventory management practices and organizational systems Understanding of applicable regulations and ability to learn ordinances and procedures quickly Attention to detail that ensures accuracy in all inventory tracking and organization Mathematical skills for handling counts, ratios, and basic calculations Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and help find solutions Independent judgment for making decisions about organization and priorities Communication skills for working effectively with team members and management Physical ability to handle inventory tasks—lifting, organizing, and staying active throughout your shift Organizational mindset that creates order and efficiency Reliability that team members can count on Quality focus that ensures products meet standards Team spirit that supports everyone's success Flexibility to handle various duties as business needs require
Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle the physical demands of retail—sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and staying energized during busy shifts Comfort working in a retail environment with varying noise levels
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management & Organization:
Conduct inventory replenishment in the inventory room throughout your shift, ensuring everything stays properly stocked and organized Maintain organization of the product stock room, including condensing large bins to ensure older product sells before new product—because freshness and quality matter Bundle products for easier counts and more efficient operations Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts with the accuracy this regulated industry demands Assist with inventory management using established company procedures and respond to discrepancies by notifying management promptly
Product Quality & Merchandising:
Merchandise store displays and assist with stocking and merchandising in the sales area as needed—because how products look affects how customers feel about them Verify that products are priced appropriately and accurately reflect current pricing strategies Ensure that all incoming product meets applicable regulations and quality standards Help maintain the visual appeal and organization that makes shopping enjoyable for customers Support the sales team by keeping products accessible and properly presented
Systems & Compliance Support:
Work with the leadership team to ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedures Ensure materials are ready and available for sale when customers want them Maintain accuracy of inventory through careful attention to detail and systematic organization May assist with entering and reconciling product invoices into the POS system Help maintain the documentation and organization that regulatory compliance requires
Team Support & Operations:
Collaborate with Store Management and the Inventory Team to keep operations running smoothly Support customer service indirectly by ensuring the sales team always has properly organized, accessible inventory Assist with various administrative duties as needed to support overall business success Maintain good working relationships with staff, vendors, and anyone else you interact with
