Essential Functions and Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory records, collaborating with third-party vendors, and ensuring proper order data entry by the sales team. This role plays an essential part in database management, compliance with OEM programs, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements. The position requires a proactive approach in sales support, policy adherence, and ongoing professional development through training. Additionally, the role includes contributing to marketing initiatives, such as creating materials, managing leads, and assisting with company events.
Principal Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Ensure accurate and timely inventory records are maintained to support profitability, collaborating with third-party vendors to identify inventory requiring additional photos or updates. Oversee and assist the sales team in entering complete and accurate order data into the internal database, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication.
Database Management:
Manage and maintain internal database systems, ensuring they comply with relevant OEM programs and contractual obligations. Proactively identify areas for improvement in database functionality, proposing and implementing solutions to optimize workflow and system efficiency.
Sales Support:
Provide consistent support to the sales team by ensuring adherence to internal policies, manufacturer procedures, and operational guidelines. Stay current with updated policies through training and meetings, ensuring the team remains aligned with the latest requirements.
Marketing Support:
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including product photos, for use both internally and externally. Participate in lead allocation efforts and support the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, driving marketing efforts forward.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications or further education in inventory management, sales, or operations a plus. A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control, accounting, sales, or operations is preferred. Previous experience in accounting, sales, or operations is advantageous. Strong customer service and telephone communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external vendors. Exceptional time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Impeccable attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other relevant software tools.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000 / year (depending on experience and qualifications) Full-time position
