Job Description
Reports to the A/DACG Supervisor and fills in during the absence of the Supervisor. Oversees the daily operations of the Air Movement Section and assigned employees. Makes independent decisions when providing technical guidance determining material, personnel, and equipment requirements, movement phases, and time requirements for units supported by Fort Bragg 406th AFSBn.
Assists Unit Movements Officer/Noncommissioned Officers, Deployment Support Teams (DST), Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guards Units IAW the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR), FM 4-01, Army Transportation Operations, and the Joint Readiness Standard Operating Procedures (JRSOP), in order to assist the XVIII Airborne Corps in execution of exercises, deployments, and mobilizations. Reviews/completes Aircraft Load Plans using the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES).Inspects all Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods forms against the identified hazardous cargo to ensure compliance with
Reviews all unit Air Load Plans with Diplomatic Clearance for HAZMAT to ensure the units do not exceed their planned weights authorized and validated by Air Mobility Command (AMC) and FORSCOM.Assists in the collection of data for end of month reports.
Plans and coordinates movement of military personnel and cargo through staged departure and arrival points for inbound and outbound deployments.
Tracks inbound/outbound missions with Global Decision Support Systems (GDSS) and/or Single Mobility Systems (SMS).Maintains and processes air movement records in accordance with department procedures. Has knowledge of coordination of movement personnel, cargo in support of training and real-world deployments.
Coordinates the processing, loading of personnel and cargo based on deployment plans, and aircraft schedules.
Manages passenger service and paratrooper operations to ensure quality customer service and compliance with
Reviews air mission set-ups, and relays information on cargo and passenger processing to employees, supported units, and other departments/organizations.
Must obtain a Secret Clearance and maintain throughout employment.
Must complete the Armys AMCO course. Acts as co-shift supervisor, coordinates employee duty schedule, reviews timecards, trains and ensures all shift employees remain qualified and proficient IAW their duty positions. Complies with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations, and Working Rules. Performs other duties as assigned.

Reviews all documentation accompanying cargo for accurate descriptions and complete record of items to be air transported.Reviews all unit Air Load Plans with Diplomatic Clearance for HAZMAT to ensure the units do not exceed their planned weights authorized and validated by Air Mobility Command (AMC) and FORSCOM.Assists in the collection of data for end of month reports.
