What You'll Do:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment for accuracy, quality, and condition. Document and report any discrepancies or damages in received goods to the Supply Chain Manager. Organize and distribute inventory to the appropriate departments within the hospital, ensuring that all areas are adequately stocked. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, distribution activities, and warehouse transactions. Monitor inventory levels to ensure that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet the needs of the hospital. Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to forecast supply needs and place orders accordingly. Utilize inventory management software to update records, track inventory movements, and generate reports. Complies with hospital and departmental policies, procedures, regulations and standards as related to job. Actively and appropriately participates in problem-solving identification and resolution, both intra- and inter-departmentally. Meets department customer service standards and strives to enhance the level of customer service provided

Qualifications What We're Looking For:

Required:

Enrolled in High school or equivalent. Good customer service skills. Computer literate. Able to work independently and prioritize job requirements to assure duties are completed in a timely manner. Able to understand and interpret variable forms of documentation. Must be attentive to detail in completion of paperwork. Able to work in and help create a Team environment. Ability to communicate with staff, patients and visitors.

Preferred:

High school grad or equivalent Prior shipping/receiving experience. Familiar with inventory control and supply distribution. Previous experience in a Healthcare setting.
